UVB will make ANYONE red if you are OVEREXPOSED.... and again - the premise of photosensitizers is not just for your face.... your whole body will be subject to the same antibiotic....
Honestly - the less chemicals involved on an ACTIVE acne case the better... Especially Tanning products with or without DHA But SUP I would recommend going with a Pro Cosmetics line (Clinique') that will color match you for that boost of color - - - and has product made for acne prone skin.........
If your treatment will be the E-mycin over a long course of time.... after 2-3 weeks (and the skin is clearing) very light doses of UV in a base level bed would be a nice way to shine that bacteria hiding in your pores.... Super duper moderation is the key
Clinique makes a product called Prescriptives .... and it can be best matched to your skin tone... and is specially for problem skin.....
