sup - while you are taking these meds you should NOT tan OR use a sunless product...
The tazorac is very DRYING and if you are applying it spot to spot ( ****, even doing a full facial) will make your skin very sensitive and not a GOOD base for using a bronzer (which does better on exfoliated, healthy skin)....
Also - you NEED to allow the treatment to begin to work - - keep the pores clear of added potential irritants....
California Tan has a bronzer compact that may be too dark for you called Suddenly Sun - - - I would suggest either going with a Pro Cosmetics line (Clinique') that will color match you for that boost of color - - - and has product made for acne prone skin....
Once you are off the tazorac - - you can still tan on the E-mycin (1 pill a day??) if you advise the salon staff you are ON THIS MED, they will cut back your normal exposure time to avoid the photosensitivity issues.
