| She's nineteen and no longer has alopecia, but she had it when she was younger. Yes, alopecia causes spotty loss of hair. Her mother said that the current spots on her arm look like alopecia. Would a good bronzer work, or a good self tanner cover up the spots. This is my first run in with this type of skin condition and not sure what to recommend.
