Chica, I am not one of the mods that cares if you own a salon or just tans in one. To me it is Tan Talk and nowhere is there a sign that says Salon Owners Only except in the area set aside for that purpose.
Some owners have invested a great deal of time, effort, and money in
equipment and education and deal with much more that just tanning issues everyday just to provide a great place for tanners to enjoy, so they may feel the way you would if a student started telling you how to teach your subject or run your class. Try to be objective with them.
The stuff between the boards has to do with everyone across the boards. If you call a spade, or what in your opinion is a spade, a spade, someone may call you one also. That should be obvious also, and it is not whatever as MJ loves to say. It is not slandering,taking out of context or purposefully misquoting and spinning the true intentions of legitimate posters on all boards. TanToday has a forum or two where people can get rowdy, so do we, but it seems your new home is one big playground and the few who continue to post there have no respect for forum topic or those who have differing opinions.
None of us try to cause friction it just happens sometimes. I want you here and welcome your thoughtful and studied posts and questions in any of the forums you are allowed access to.
