| The hygiene issue of tanning in a public place can not be stressed enough. It is far safer to use a booth in a salon were the design is to have no contact with any public surface, then to lay in cotact with a surface that many people have contaminated like on a tanning bed. Tanning bed use is safest in home use were many strangers are not sharing the same tanning surface.
Would you share your shoes, tooth brush, hair brush or under garments with stranger, no matter how well they suposidly were sanitized ? No.
For those people that hygiene is important booth taning is by far the best way to tan.
Its your health its your choice.
