there is such a thing as drinking too much water.... aside from overworking your kidneys, you will actually start to dehydrate yourself and start messing around with your blood chemistry.
but it's pretty hard for active people to drink TOO much water. we have a difficult time as it is, just getting ENOUGH in our systems. *swigging out of her water bottle*
I never drink iced tea or soda... it's always cold water with a slice of lemon. If you think about it, a can of Coke or bottle of Snapple has like 100 calories. If you drink 4 or 5 of those a day, that's 500 calories!!! That's an hour's worth of hard running!!!! |
