I can't quite figure out if this is what is happening to me.

I've been tanning for YEARS. Never had any problems, I tan really easily.

Now I am starting to get what LOOKS like heat rash (red, itchy, and bumpy) in the same places each time I tan: left elbow, right shin, and a small bit on my chest near my cleavage.

It seems to me that it's only in places that touch the bed, but that doesn't make any sense because then wouldn't my back and stomach and everything else that touches the bed get it too?

I can't imagine it's heat rash because I feel cool the entire time and don't sweat at all.

The only thing I can think of is perhaps I am allergic to the cleaning agent, but that doesn't make sense either based on where I DON'T get the rash - tailbone, backs of legs, etc.

Any ideas? I am familiar with "tanner's itch" which I get occassionaly on my legs and stomach (I moisturize and it stops) and this doesn't seem to follow the same pattern. It's not quite to the "infuriating" stage yet but it's getting close - I don't WANT to stop tanning!
