| about relamping...we are working on obtaining compatible replacements for the speed lamp so you won't be stuck with it. also, there is a fellow on here by the name of lampman that already carries a philips replacement for the speed lamp. you can usually find him hanging out in the lamp forum on this page.
i hear the starpower is a great unit, if you'v got the right lamp.
do you have buckboosters on the unit? if not, look into it. the performance of the unit may have more to do with incoming voltage than it does the lamp.
