I am curious. nullHave any of you completely determined how much it actually costs t My .02 cents : ((total #
lamps * wattage per lamp) / 1000) multiplied by (electricity cost per kilowatt-hour) = cost of electricity to run that bed per 20minute session *AND THEN* (total number of
lamps * cost to replace each lamp)/ (actual # of good hours from lamp / 60 minutes) = cost to replace
lamps per minute of usage. *AND THEN* (Electricity Total) + (Lamp Replacement Total) + (Share of Overhead Incurred for each Session) = Total Gross Cost Per Session. Here's where I think some of you are making some critical gross revenue impacting mistakes: At $39.99 per month, even if the client only tans 20 times (and they will because the mindset is to tan as often as they can as long as they are paying), you will only gross $1.9995 per session. Now if you had a 32 lamp bed w/0 facials in the previous example with 100 watt
lamps, saying they were XX
lamps with an expected life of 1000 hours but a realistic life of only 600 hrs (if you're lucky!), you're probably looking at about $1.00 just for lamp and electricity - nothwithstanding the overhead of running the salon. So, are you making any money?
