Welcome to the world of tanning! You are already doing more than alot of people do by asking for help! There are alot of different types of units out there on the market. It can get very confusing!I would suggest to get subscriptions to the trade magazines(Looking Fit,Todays Image,Island Sun Times)They all have web sites on line. When choosing equipment there are many things to consider!Checking out what is already near you in existing salons is highly recomended!Tanning yourself in as many different types of units before you purchase is also a good idea! The feelings you have about equipment is the same feelings that clients will have.In this situation Knowledge and information is power!Do comparisons between units!Make sure you fully understand the electrical requirements and warranties of the units you are considering.Remember the equipment you decide to use will be the biggest representation of your salon.Always ask about anything that you are not sure about!Different companies have different policies on installation,Some units are relativly easy to install while others can be difficultI would recomend having a qualified experienced person do your installation.Having the units installed correctly from thevery beginning can make a huge difference in how much down time you incur later on.It is well worth the additional cost to pay to have it installed by a professional.Eliminate as many of the unknowns before you purchase anything! What I have written here is just the tip of the iceburg! But, its a start.Organization is also important start files on all the different aspects you are looking into, it will help keep info seperated.Good luck!
