Chip, a disinfectant means it kills germs.Lucasol (or other simular cleaners)are the same solutions hospitals use to sanitize. If you mix your solution correctally and clean the beds well there should be no germs.I find that if people find any flaw on there skin after tanning they need something to understand it. They will question if came from the bed. The first time I ever got in a tanning bed was many years ago at a healthclub. It was full of liquid. I had no idea what the liquid was. I got back out of the bed and wiped it out. After a little while it dawned on me that it had been the sweat of the person before me. GROSS!!!!!No one at this club explained the cleaning process or even told me that I was responsible to clean the bed before I got in it. Amazingly I was not turned of from tanning for the rest of my life. But that was one incident I would wish on no one else. YUCK!!!
